Primal Fear on Film

The Rocky Horror Picture Show | #TBT Trailer | 20th Century FOX

Creatures of the night! Sing, dance, laugh and hurl untold objects at the screen during this most beloved of all cinematic bacchanalia. In this seventies' cult musical classic, naive sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a "transvestite" scientist. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker (Meat Loaf) and a creepy butler (Richard O'Brien). Through elaborate song and dance, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular boy toy named "Rocky."

D: Jim Sharman, US, 1975, 1h38m

Free and unticketed. Screening at Sarner Underground.

The show includes a performance by the Displaced Theatre Co., goodie bags with props and refreshments.
