Join Hop Director Mary Lou Aleskie, Coast Jazz Orchestra at Dartmouth Director Taylor Ho Bynum and members of the Coast to explore the arts in the Bay Area.

19/20 Member Event

March 14–20, 2020

Go backstage and behind-the-scenes at the region's cultural institutions, enjoy hot new spots on the culinary scene, and spend time getting to know some of Dartmouth's best and brightest as they participate in workshops, rehearse with local pros, and offer performances in venues big and small. Bentley Fellows trips are deeply engaging, curated experiences perfect for those that love travel and the arts.

Itinerary to include:

  • A backstage reception at Davies Symphony Hall and a performance of the San Francisco Symphony conducted by Michael Tilson Thomas with a program of his 2012 composition Lope, Stravinsky's The Firebird, and Shostakovich's Cello Concerto No. 2 featuring San Francisco favorite Gautier Capuçon; 
  • Tours at SF MOMA and the stunning offices of Autodesk, a world leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software;
  • A Big Green reception for Bay Area alumni and families featuring a performance of the Coast;
  • A private reception at the home of a pair of Dartmouth alumni;
  • And more!

  
Accommodations will be at the Lodge at the Presidio (San Francisco's "best-kept luxe hotel secret") and the Stanford Park Hotel (one of Conde Nast's top ten hotels in Northern California).

Pricing:

For double occupancy: $3,800 per person
For single occupancy: $4,950 per person
 
Registration fee includes five nights in a Standard King Room at the Lodge at the Presidio and one night in a Courtyard King Room at the Stanford Park Hotel including daily breakfast, group transportation for itinerary activities, performance tickets, and all meals.

Open one hour prior to all ticketed events.
There will be extended hours 12-5 pm Tuesday-Friday from July 9-26 for the Live Season On Sale.
