A Multichannel Spatial Audio Installation

SPECTRAL is a 4+1 channel spatial sound installation that translates real measurement data from NASA's Parker Solar Probe into an immersive sonic experience. Cast as the sole perceiving subject of the Sun, the probe's journey through invisible magnetic fields and solar storms unfolds as sound. The installation is on view nightly at Shattuck Observatory's Dome Room from September 14 - 20.
