Vertical Life Film Tour Trailer

Originating in Australia, the Vertical Life Film Tour celebrates the post-COVID return of the Vertical Life magazine with three stunning explorations of why people climb and the places in which they do it. From circus arts to coping with grief to dreams of the Olympics, the films cover the breadth and diversity of the climbing experience, and will be compelling and inspiring for climbers and acrophobics alike.

Out of the Blue: A mysterious character engages a combination of street artists and mountain alpinists for an unthinkable project located in the Oberland summits of Switzerland. This new film combines climbing, slack lining and circus arts in a truly unique and visually stunning film that captures the very essence of "vertical life."  43m

A Thousand Ways to Kiss the Ground is an exploration into grief and its expression through the stories of individuals who have experienced loss or trauma due to climbing or alpinism. Alex Honnold, Tommy Caldwell and fellow elite climbers discuss how they are learning to integrate grief into their daily lives and in effect, change the community's collective narrative surrounding this topic. 22m

Valhalla is the heartwarming and heartstopping story of father/son climbing team Francisco and Edu Marin and their attempt to equip and complete the unthinkable: a 380-meter roof climb across the legendary Valhalla arch in Getu, China. 53m
