The place or idea of "home" drives the films in this series in a variety of ways. Twin brothers create a blues club for their community in their hometown, where evil awaits. A mother takes her kids to the streets of São Paulo to escape abuse at home. The family of an Israeli hostage from the October 7 attack prays for their loved one to return. Peasants give everything they have to hire samurai to protect their village. A Transylvanian immigrant seeks to build a new life with his shipful of plague rats. 

And yes, a girl from Kansas learns that if she should ever go looking for her heart's desire again, she needn't look further than her own backyard.
