About Olympic Dreams

Director Jeremy Teicher '10 joins forces with writer/athlete/actress Alexi Pappas '12 and comedian Nick Kroll for this charming dramedy about physical strength and emotional vulnerability, shot during the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang. The first scripted film ever given permission to shoot within an actual Olympic Village features cameos by several notable Olympians from around the world, all trying to gear themselves up and unwind after they go for the gold. About Jeremy Teicher '10

Jeremy is a director, writer and producer whose work blends fiction with reality. His third feature film, Olympic Dreams, wowed audiences at its SXSW premiere—but his biggest fans by far are right here at the Hop! His previous two films, Tracktown (also starring Alexi Pappas '12) and Tall as the Baobab Tree were both critically and popularly acclaimed and earned him a place in Filmmaker Magazine's 25 New Faces of Independent Film

“The pic is visually exciting and has a palpably organic quality that translates well to the screen … A refreshing and confident piece of work.”
