Jesse joins the Hopkins Center as Production Manager, bringing more than 25 years of experience in arts production, technical direction and event logistics. Prior to this role, he served as Operations Manager at the Tsongas Center Arena at UMass Lowell, where he oversaw complex, large-scale events and venue operations. Originally a performer and musician, Jesse's early passion for the arts led him to technical production, with a focus on lighting design. He went on to work thirteen years at the Hartt School of Music, Theatre, and Dance at the Univ. of Hartford as Master Electrician and Technical Director, where he supported and designed a wide range of performances while mentoring emerging artists and technicians. He later served as Director of Production at the Austin Arts Center at Trinity College for seven years, managing multidisciplinary productions and teaching lighting design. Jesse's leadership is defined by a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, grounded in clear communication, technical precision and a commitment to realizing artistic vision at the highest level.
