As a student at Dartmouth from 2006-2010, Johanna was heavily involved in the Hop as a production department employee, the student manager of the Handel Society, a member of the Film Society, and a Theater Minor. After earning a Master's in Literature & Social Justice from Lehigh University, she returned to work at the Hop as the Film Society Director in 2012. Now as the Director of Programming Initiatives, she leads the Hop's curatorial team to present a balanced and engaging visiting artist program, as well as a slate of 30+ films each term. She earned a research fellowship from the Gender Research Institute at Dartmouth (GRID) in 2015 and 2017, serves on the board for the New England School of the Arts and Upper Valley Junction Arts & Media. She writes fiction when she's not seeing as many movies as possible.
