"The memories I have made in Glee Club will forever be an essential part of my Dartmouth experience." —Leah Casey '21

The Dartmouth College Glee Club is a group of approximately 40 distinguished choral singers that boasts a rich musical and collegiate history. The club's ever-increasing repertoire spans five centuries, including many of the masterworks of choral-orchestral literature, a cappella works and the cherished songs of Dartmouth College. Recent performances have included Trois Chansons of both Debussy and Ravel, Brahms's Zigeunerlieder Op. 103, Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle, Vivaldi's Gloria in D Major, RV 589, David Lang's I Lie, Five English Folk Songs arranged by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Old American Songs arranged by Aaron Copland.

The Glee Club has toured internationally to Canada, Italy, Brazil and Spain, and regularly tours all across the United States, most recently performing in schools across the American South, including New Orleans in 2017. The group has released five CDs of choral music and performed the Brahms Requiem in Carnegie Hall in 2000. Their tour to Cuba in December 2014 included the rarely performed Romancero Gitano for guitar and chorus.

The Glee Club prides itself on its integral role in the history of Dartmouth College. Since its inception in the 1800s, the choir has maintained close ties to the Dartmouth community, performing traditional school songs at homecoming and graduation as well as more varied repertoire at termly concerts.
