SBIFF Trailer - Katherine Dudas' Juniper

Mack (Madison Lawlor) is a highly independent young woman, so in the wake of her sister's tragic death she escapes to her family's rustic cabin to grieve in her own way—with tarot cards and a handle of gin. But her seclusion is quickly cut short when her Type-A childhood bestie, Alex (Decker Sadowski '14), crashes the private grief retreat, bringing her own offbeat friend, Dylan (Olivia Blue), along with her. Tensions rise as the group struggles with different ways of processing grief, and the true reason for Alex's visit comes to the surface.

An in-person discussion follows with actor/writer/producer Decker Sadowski '14

Part of the Dartmouth Alumnae Film Series

Decker grew up in Santa Barbara, California. After studying Mechanical Engineering at Dartmouth College, she lost her mind and decided to study theater at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. She can be seen on NBC's hit show Brooklyn Nine-Nine and in award-winning indie films.

“Where Juniper excels is in the performances, particularly of the lead trio.”
