Dartmouth Alumnae Film Series

Alumnae Film Series

Some of Dartmouth's most illustrious graduates return to discuss their cinematic work.

Kicking off the three-part series, prolific, Norwich-based filmmaker Nora Jacobson '74 will be in attendance with collaborator and poet Bianca Stone for a post-screening discussion of the lyrical documentary Ruth Stone's Vast Library of the Female Mind, which chronicles the life and work of the late Vermont Poet Laureate. We are then joined by directors Ricki Stern '87 and Annie Sundberg '90 for their new documentary, My So-Called High School Rank, about a high-school musical that catches fire across the country by channeling the pressures of the college admissions process into song, dance and catharsis. Finishing the series, Hop Film welcomes back Decker Sadowski '14, writer, producer and star of Juniper, a coming-of-age story about grief and the sometimes complicated friendships that get in the way.
