with traditional Chinese puppetsJoin us to celebrate the Year of the Sheep!
Hao Bang Ah, Sheep! is a vibrant showcase of original Chinese BuDaiXi hand puppetry. The performance features a jolly selection of wild skits, dances and songs that celebrate the wit and wisdom of the zodiac animals, drawing from popular songs and well-known Chinese sayings. Special guests include other members of the zodiac puppet ensemble.
The show presents ancient and modern pearls of sheep wisdom, such as "When three sheep gather, prosperity follows," and introduces the audience to Chinese New Year customs, foods and traditions. It is highly interactive—featuring sing-alongs, games and a post-show hands-on demonstration—making this cultural learning experience accessible and engaging for all ages.
Registration is encouraged but not required. The show is family-friendly and suitable for all ages.
Photographs will be taken at this event. By attending, you agree to be photographed and video recorded. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
