A new music-theatre work in early development centered on a queer Black grandson and his grandmother. The piece unfolds inside a single house—both literal and psychological—representing belonging, early lessons, comfort and distorted memory.

The Dispute

The Dispute is a new musical inspired by Marivaux's 1742 comedy La Dispute. In a fairytale world, a prince and princess enter a drag-out dispute: Who was first to be unfaithful in love, man or woman? A social experiment unfurls. Four young adults, raised in total isolation from birth, are released into the wild to test the origins of love, sex and betrayal. But when one subject's desire starts to outgrow the limits of the experiment, identities and alliances shift, and the whole thing goes dangerously––and gleefully––off the rails.

The Book of Mountains and Seas

The Book of Mountains and Seas follows Raymond, a grieving father from California, who travels to New York two years after his son Archie's death and recruits Archie's former boyfriend, Andrew, for an impossible pilgrimage: visiting every restaurant Archie ever reviewed on Yelp. What ensues is a funny and tender adventure through food, memory, clashing cultures and an unlikely friendship, as two people who loved the same man search for what remains of him and discover what it means to let him go.

The Center (The Hamlet Project) reimagines Shakespeare's tragedy inside an Urban Native American community hub in 1980s New York City—a space built from survival, ceremony and the uneasy politics of representation. When a young community member returns home to find the center in turmoil, old griefs, new betrayals and intergenerational responsibilities collide. Blending Indigenous storytelling, dark humor and the raw energy of the era, the piece transforms a classic narrative into a story about sovereignty, kinship and the fight to hold a community together.
