Sci-fi classics, unique shorts shows, National Theatre in HD and Ken Burns—something for everyone!
This summer to mark the America 250th we are eager to invite back Ken Burns to present an episode of his latest series The American Revolution, and also to partner with Dartmouth Dialogues to present a new documentary America Unfiltered in conjunction with a photo gallery.
We look forward to presenting the Sundance Shorts and a past Animation Show of Shows that got by us—both artistically rigorous programs that are hard to find. For Art on Screen, we explore the paintings of Turner & Constable and offer two acclaimed National Theatre in HD shows starring Nicola Coughlan (of Bridgerton fame) and Lesley Manville.
And it wouldn't be summer without blockbusters! The Dartmouth Film Society brings timeless—and timely—classic sci-fi to the big screen with a series on Killer Robots!
