Joshua Bell and Larisa Martinez
Voice and the ViolinJoshua Bell and Larisa Martinez
Voice and the ViolinThe illustrious duo brings us a sweeping program of romantic arias and modern classics.
With violinist Bell and soprano Martínez, this program was born of the duo's love of making music together at home, exploring repertoire from opera and classical art song to musical theater and selections by Puerto Rican and Spanish composers.
"Our concept for the Voice and the Violin began when we were finding new ways to collaborate and enjoy music together," says the couple. "Although finding repertoire written specifically for violin and voice can be a challenge, we discovered and fell in love with the gems featured on this program."
