Join jazz legend Terence Blanchard, Director of the EE Just Program Craig Sutton and Hop Director Mary Lou Aleskie for a conversation about what it's like to be a Black artist in America today.
21/22 Public TalkFollowing the historic premiere of his Fire Shut Up in My Bones earlier this season, the award-winning jazz trumpeter and composer will discuss his work in the New Orleans jazz scene and his experience as the first African American opera composer at the Met. Meanwhile, Sutton will present initiatives and efforts at Dartmouth addressing reparations and BIPOC equality.
